Hi All, so I'm now on day two of not having my phone.  A couple of issues that I have had to deal with.  First, my business partner cannot contact me.  That's okay though because it just means I'll be going into the office more frequently.  This is actually a positive thing.  It mean we can work more closely on important projects and ideas that are often not properly conveyed via phone or SMS.  The other problem I've had is that I couldn't accept payment via email from a client while I was out and about.  Still, no drama there.  I went into a nearby branch and they did it for me and I got tot talk to the attractive bank clerk.  See there are positives all round in this new lifestyle choice!

I'll be back tomorrow with another update, and I'll post a nice photo of the decrpit corpse of my old iPhone.  That's right I took the hammer to it today. It felt sooooooo goooood!

Yes, that's right. So far I'm on day-one without my cell-phone.  And it's no joke.  It really is like a going cold turkey.  That's why I know I'm doing the right thing.  Even after day-one, I have gained clarity. Clarity that the power-elite want us all addicted to our beloved new-age tech.  It's their way of keeping us on a leash. Their way of keeping an eye on us. The cellphone network is like the ring of power - "one ring to rule them all, and in the darkness bind them".  Scary stuff, huh, when you start looking at it like that.  But no need to be that scared. Soon everything will be back to normal again.  Soon  I will learn to carry a paper address book again.  Soon I will learn to read a map again and do maths in my head. Soon I will be free of the feeling that I need to check my phone every five seconds, even though I am not expecting an SMS or email.  Admit it! You do it too! In a restaurant, in a bar.  Instead of chatting up that gorgeous bar tender, you're updating Facebook on your phone. Ever the slave they have trained you to become.

Anyway, I'll be updating this blog everyday of my journey to freedom so keep checking-in on my condition.  Hopefully you'll become inspired by my progress and join me.  I hope you do and look forward to seeing you on the other side.

Best of luck until then
